People have been asking......Chiloe.......(Chill - o - way)
We are really enjoying our stay on the island, and were treated to a beautiful sunset last night.......as we say at Wymbolwood......."Definitely picture worthy". The hotel manager also told us that Sandra (previous post) was responsible for setting up the garden/greenhouse here at the hotel, so we went down for a look, and no surprise it was very well organized and thriving.........we helped ourselves to some peas as we are just not getting fed enough on this vacation.........every time we turn around somebody is offering you fantastic food.........hard to turn down, but I am doing my best, and if you believe that one!.........

| Some great art in the hotel |
Somehow..........we have no idea........Jutta and I have been selected to have a private dinner on the hotel boat Williche..........must be our amazing charm and good looks..........either way, after touring on the boat today, we are to have a pit stop at the hotel, and re-board for dinner and a cruise..........hope they have some scotch on board!

| How civilized is this? |
Our cruise earlier in the day took us to a collection of smaller islands north of the hotel where we were able to explore yet another Jesuit church, go for a kayak, and visit a small fishing town.
 |
| This is the nalca plant/leaves that were used at the curanto (pit cooking) at the hotel the other night. |
 |
| Great fishing town at low tide with a lot of the shore houses on stilts. |
 |
| Double Trouble is back in business. |

Would it be asking too much for you and Jutta to put together a similar trip for Glenn and I?
ReplyDeleteNaturally we'd like you to omit experiences and places that didn't work out, and only include those that rated a 'thumbs up'. Thanks so much! :-)
